INTRODUCTION
The movie shows, in an unexplored way with fantastic and terror aspects the university students’ daily lives. The parallel between routine and unbelievable creates an entertaining atmosphere, which describes, in a metaphoric way, the pressure that the students are under nowadays, when competition and the fear of failure overwhelms them.
The film focuses to represent visually and metaphorically the pressure and the stress that students have to face. Computer graphics and visual effects is widely used to introduce the fantastic situations, which the main character go through. The fantastic elements will play a crucial role in the movie, since they capture the spectators’ attention. The movie have as the main character an average university student and next to him there is an average of university students, professors and other supporting characters. Inspirations came from series like Amazing Stories and Twilight Zone among others.
SYNOPSIS
The fifteen-minute terror movie tells the story of an average Brazilian university student who goes through a period of huge pressure and stress and has a bizarre and scary experience. Alone in the university premises at night, the protagonist sees the desks in his classroom start moving by themselves. Scared, the student dashes to the hall. There he sees a strange creature which pursues him across the premises. During his attempt to escape, the scared student meets people who are familiar to him: schoolmates and staff members. At these encounters, the student sees each person turn into the bizarre creature that is after him. After many bizarre incidents, he finally reaches the building exit. But his relief turns into terror when he notices that the exit door is locked and he is surrounded by the grotesque creatures which get nearer and nearer. He then screams in despair. Suddenly he realizes that he is again in the classroom where it all started, but now in the company of one classmate, who has just woken him up. It was just a dream. He calms down, but as soon as he is alone again, he feels that those bizarre incidents are far from over.
