Daly Waters is a small town in the Northern Territory of Australia 212 metres above sea level. The area's traditional owners are the Jingli people. The springs are named after the new Governor of South Australia, Sir Dominick Day. The main attraction for tourists is a famous pub decorated with banknotes all throughout and other memorabilia left by visitors from people and celebrities from all corners of the world. The pub has been there since 1938 to service passengers and crew from the nearby airfield, which was a refueling stop for flights from Singapore and a World War II Air Force base that is now an operational base for joint military maneuvers.
