Saalbach-Hinterglemm is a municipality in the district of Zell am See (Pinzgau region), in the Austrian state of Salzburg. It is known for its amazing skiing and winter sports. The largest city is Zell am See which consists of two small town: Saalbach and Hinterglemm. It is known for the Alpine Ski World Championships 1991, which was the biggest international event ever seen by the region. Tourism became popular just after World War I. Without tourism, this town would arguably not survive.
