Released in the summer of 2002, Life is a musical snapshot of that time.
With a Bush in the Whitehouse, as well as a marked shift to the right in the political world in general, there was a distinct sense of deja vu- everything was all 80's again...and so it was decided that the Life album would take its cues from the two big musical movements of that time- hip hop and punk rock- in particular, albums like the classic 'Let Them Eat Jellybeans' and Public Enemy's 'It Takes A Nation Of Millions...'
