This was the first long show of the current US tour, the kick-off show being a one-hour opener for REO. Unfortunately, the sound in the room was pretty poor. I probably should have used the SBD as one source, but only the vocal and kick-drum were miked, and I was worried that it would be too bare.
I normally would have cranked the on-stage guitars even more, but with the vocal already so low in the mix, I didn't want to bury it any further. Basically, the volume on the stage was overpowering the volume of the PA. If it weren't for the vocal, this would be a great recording. A sample is below in the comments section.
