This Namyi calling the soul back ritual was done by the religious specialist, Han Heshang, at Luodu Gezu's grandfather's home in Mu'er Village, Lianhe Township, Mianning County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, PR China in February 2008. The ritual was done for Luodu Gezu's father who felt weak and a lack of energy. Han Heshang, upon consultation, suggested this ritual. The film was made by Luode Gezu.
