This short comedy about low carb diets spoofs the visual style of the movie 21 Grams. A woman goes on a diet to win the affections of her superficial sister. Miraculously, she starts losing weight, until an “accident” changes everything. Shot by cinematographer Lon Stratton (Standing in the Shadows of Motown) and featuring Second City Detroit alumni and a cameo appearance by 8 Mile’s Chloe Greenfield, 21 Carbs is a hilarious, multi-layered satire.
