The episode opens with Kevin running, shivering and sweating, to Strange's House. As Strange and Toby try to discover what it is Kevin can sense, we cut to a scene of a man tumbling along the grass. Slightly later, Canon Black is at the scene and confirms that the dead man is one of his vergers. Also present is Jude who has come to find her son, Joey, who is sat in a police car. Later in the same evening Jude calls Strange and confides in him that she is worried that Joey might have picked up some demonic traits from his demon father, Rich. Strange asks his friend and psychic, Miss Emily Hawthorne to meet Joey and see whether she thinks that Jude's fears could be right whilst Jude asks a colleague Mr Ravi Siva, a Consultant Paediatrician, to examine Joey too. However, shortly after Jude gets the tests results from Siva giving Joey the all clear, his body is found by Marion, wife of the Reverend Morris. Morris goes to where Siva's body is lying and is shocked to discover that according to Siva's ID he has aged considerably by at least 20 years. Kevin spies Canon Black reading the demon book, the Demonica Diablo and takes Strange a piece of paper with the name Wixoz on it. Neither Toby nor Strange can find any information about this demon but Strange is sure that this is the key to the deaths. Canon Black persuades Reverend Johnson that it is better for Marion if she stays with him, making it perfectly clear who is in charge, threatening Johnson with a move to another parish. However when Miss Hawthorne is found dead and also very much aged, Johnson goes to see Strange. He has stumbled on an article about rapid ageing a subject that Jude discovers Ravi Siva was also investigating. Jude still fears that Joey maybe involved, especially as he met both Siva and Miss Hawthorne and professed to Jude that he disliked both. As Jude struggles with her suspicions she is forced to become more involved with Strange and his gang of demon hunters. Does Joey hold the key to the deaths after all? And when Jude takes the Night Bus home, is she signing her own death warrant?
