Taking your dog for a walk. Nothing could be more relaxing. What's crazy, though, is getting "Fido" a membership at the gym to run on the treadmill. That's right, the lengths people will go to pamper their pet is now officially ridiculous. We're all aware of pet psychics, doggie-daycare spas, and animal-only play grounds. But now, there are "scientists" who'll study your pet's barks, meows, coos and whistles for signs of emotions, intelligence and an interior life. Even worse, there are plenty of people who dress up their pets in designer sweaters, feed them designer/organic foods, enter them in animal beauty pageants and carry them around in a purse. And it only gets crazier. Much crazier.
