This is the ‘Killer’ show. Basically I’m realizing I’m not a great DJ (really, I suck), but I’m having fun with this anyway! Used some new equipment to do this show - an Alesis 8-track USB mixer and a MX 990 mic. I think the mic is much better than the Plantronics headset mic I used in the last 2 shows. It picks up a lot more, including the background noise as I did this show at the kitchen table. :)
Update 5/17/2005: Grrrrrr! Lots of drop-outs in the audio again. Must be something to do with Audacity and my laptop. And some of the drop-outs are in the most inappropriate of places too. I will be looking into it before the next show. In the mean time, use the show notes below for accurate ID of the bands on the show. And Heather Mere opened for Robby and Johnny of the Goo Goo Dolls in 2004, not 2005. She does have an spot in the Music is Art Festival in Buffalo for June 12, 2005. This is what I get for experimenting with new equipment…
