Fifteen year old Malia has been kicked out of her boyfriend's apartment. On this chaotic day, she encounters an autistic homeless man named Elias and a homeless street vendor named Zeke. As a desperate and broke Malia steals in order to survive, Zeke receives unexpected news from his estranged daughter and Elias' strange rituals draw undesired attention from some reckless teens. By the end of the day, the fates of all three are forever altered by their chance encounters.
