Granny gives Yakkity a mobile phone the size of a small child so she can keep track of him. When Yakkity accidentally breaks Rondo's entry in the upcoming robot wars show 'Bot Beatdown,' it's Yakkity who becomes the replacement robot -- wearing the phone! Yakkity becomes a hit ventriloquist after finding a magical talking dummy. But inside the dummy is woodworm Grubbity Grub, who's sharp wit is only matched by his insatiable appetite. Yakkity makes a deal with Grubbity to perform but soon tires of being the 'butt' of Grubbity's putdowns.
