As the show opens, Dog and the boys plan for an extremely dangerous hunt. The target, Frankie, has a violent history and a rap sheet with over 59 cases! He's been spotted in the Big Island's notorious Homestead region, a sparsely populated swath of jungle. As they head out, Dog makes a surprise announcement: for inspiration the team will visit the grave of Barbara Chapman, Dog's mother and matriarch of the Chapman clan. After tears and prayers over the gravesite, Dog promises that they will "get this one for Moma," and the crew heads out for a night of jungle hunting. The spirit of Ma Chapman seems to be helping them in their pursuit of Frankie when they gain an unusual ally, his mother. With Frankie's mother's help they hunt her son through rundown houses and unfriendly streets until they finally snag him in a violent take down. At the jail, Frankie's mother tells him that she loves him, but Frankie is unmoved. As Dog escorts the felon into the jail, Frankie's mother voices the hope that someday her son will understand that she was only trying to do what was best for him.
