In 2000 AD, James Fogarty decided to write and record a semi-psychadelic metal album, using all his previous influences, mixed with some of the sound of the 70s rock that he had been listening to a lot whilst under the influence. The album turned out to be the most depressive music he had written.
The initial reception to the album upon showing freinds & enemies was that the album was the best yet produced by Ewigkeit, but unfortunately at that time, record labels where still neccesary, and the label being tolerated at that time dissolved in a buy-out of it's parent-label's backcatalogue.
The album was then forgotten about and James decided that there were far more interesting things going on in the world than hunting down a label to release it. He spent 2 years writing & recording experimental world dance music (as you do) and all but abandoned Ewigkeit to the sands of time.
In 2003, a small eastern european label approached James, asking to release the album which they had heard a demo of. With nothing to loose, James had the album mastered as a favour during a coffee break by his then-employer James Cauty, and handed the DAT tape on to the label.
