Every EVEN - numbered track on this CD is a ‘mix-track’ between the ODD – numbered and Named Tracks.
~ When I first started mixing records, I would listen to the really smooth DJ’s and wonder ’when did that record come in’ ; or on a really tight mix.. ‘when did it come out’. I thought it would be cool if you could have an indicator as to when the ‘mix’ was going on.
Well, on this CD I did just that… All ‘NAMED” tracks are (mostly) entirely their own…whereas all the “Mix Tracks” are purely DJ input… You get the idea.
SO, Being that this a predominately TECHNO compilation, this style of track ‘slicing’ would be helpful to identify the 1’s and 2’s. I have seen this done since then – but not too often. I found it interesting for myself – Hope you do as well.
