This successful movie is a modernized film-version of William Shakespeare's classic play "Othello". It was made for a "learning achievement" (besondere Lernleistung) at a German Gymnasium by Prasanath Johnson George and is starred by talented pupils (see cast).

Description:
Ian’s (Jens Stephan) pride is slighted. The director of a stage play Oliver Moore (Nibras Naami) has appointed Kevin’s (Lukas Hensel) script and not Ian’s for the upcoming performance. Raging with envy Ian hatches a plot to falsely implicate Oliver’s beautiful prospective wife Denise (Mona Holtz) in a love affair with Kevin. With the unwitting aid of his own girlfriend Elena (Kristina Schumacher) and the willing help of Roman (Tobias Hock), Ian’s plan takes shape and results in horrific tragedy. Using petty insinuations and lies, Ian keeps poisoning Oliver’s mind till one day it snaps and Oliver goes about tearing up his own safe and secure world. By the time he realizes what he has done and the backlash of his actions it is too late...
