Contained in this audio is the last 30 minutes of this weeks show, wherein we discuss the pending Senate bill that would put into effect blacklists which may effect how a person in the United States may surf the web. You know, that thing that everyone has been throwing petitions around about. We here at Vertigo Media Network believe that it may be time to drop those petitions and actually stand up and do what so many have done for so many different reasons: fight for what you believe in. It may sound silly, but the internet created what this is, and has given Devin Vertigo in particular many opportunities over the years that otherwise would not be there. That being said, it seemed poignant to get this out to the fans before the actual release date of October 4th (Amazing Ty's birthday), to get your point of view.
If you have a passion for this, put down the petitions, contact your senators, and make it clear that you want the internet to remain without a blacklist. Yes, protecting someone's intellectual property rights can be and is important, but you don't level a city block because one building needs to be demolished.
If you have an opinion on this bill, or what we have said so far, mail us an audio response by October 7th, or even a written one, and we will read/air it.
