From my master tapes. The room has a very high ceiling and is one of those acoustically designed theatres found at universities. The sound is very good, although the room gives it some spaciousness.<br />
There is loud applause between songs. I thought about either chopping it out or trying to reduce the volume, but, in the end, I just left it alone. <br />
<br />
I wasn't sure whether to list this under classical (which much of the program is) or newgrass or what, so I opted for "Americana."<br />

Joshua Bell – violin (playing a Stradivarius worth at least 2 million $)<br />
Sam Bush –violin, mandolin, (playing a $250 pawnshop violin that was broken and re-glued and I’m not making that up)<br />
Mike Marshall – Mandolin, mandola<br />
Edgar Meyer – Bass<br />

There are points when Meyer and Marshall may play other instruments. It was 10 years ago and I donÂ’t recall.<br />
