Where Maps End is the debut album from one of China's most promising bands, Rainbow Danger Club. The music is a fresh blend of indie pop, post-rock, experimental, and psychedelia while the concept and story arc is reminiscent of the classic progressive rock bands of the 70s.

Indie anthem "Neighbors on the Rooftops" has been featured on blogs all across the world as being one of the best songs of 2010 (when it was released on the previous EP, The New Atlantis). "Drown the Creatures" is a complex, time-signature-shifting uplifting buildup that remains poppy and danceable.

One of RDC's unique qualities is its tasteful splash of Michael Corayer's trumpet. Furthermore, Wu Mao's distorted baselines provide the meat of the sonic sandwich allowing Munson Zhasi's subtle and angular guitar work to sparkle. Add Lao ZangYe's unique drum style and heavy auxiliary percussion, the end result is a sonic texture and creative chemistry unlike any other active band.

With its smart songwriting, lush production, and thoughtful lyrical and thematic concepts, this just might be the best independent album produced so far this year.

This digital release includes lyrics sheet and all album artwork.
