"Lark was originally released on the Free Range Beats netlabel in May of 2009.
Lark is essentially an exercise in collage—a pastiche of acoustic atmospherics, electronic gimmickry, space-age pop accessibility, show tunes, campfire songs, and a few other things too obscure to bother listing. In its bizarre little tracks you encounter bored school girls, haunted trains, bold Socialist cowboys, Vegetable Royalty, advice for the lovelorn, and a special guest appearance by LBJ and Defense Secretary Robert McNamara.
