Scream Infamy are quickly becoming the band to watch in 2011. The young pop/punk quartet has quickly gone from garage band, to one of the new favourite
bands on the Sydney music scene.
Hailing from the South-Western suburbs of Sydney, the band which includes members Joshua Gonzalez (lead vocals and guitar), Greg Figgins (bass), Pablo Diaz (guitar and backing vocals) and James Luccitti (drums), has quickly secured a small but growing fanbase in Sydney, as well as their hometown of Liverpool.
The band draws influence from artists such as Fall Out Boy, blink 182 and Good Charlotte, resulting in a strong pop punk/rock sound.
The band spent 2010 playing shows, recording demos and writing for their debut EP release. The band competed in many band competitions and have moved on to reach the grand finals of 'Liverpool Idol', a competition in their local area.
The band's new EP 'Behind These City Lights', is a testament to the hard work and talent of the band. The completely home recorded and self-funded release features confessional lyrics and hooks that will get stuck in your head, crunchy guitar riffs that will soar through your speakers and a breakdown or two to will keep your hardcore friend happy.
The band has supported the likes of My Future Lies and Dawn Of the Ages, with a summer tour in January 2011 approaching that is sure to expose the band to even more fans.
