Ok... Hi again folks. Since my last upload of this group was warmly welcomed, I thought that I might put up a few others. As I got this from a traded CD-R with very little info at all, I do not know the exact lineage of this recording. I would appreciate it if you would post in a comment on this listing, if you have the info text from a previous post or know the definite lineage. As to the recording itself, this is an Audience recording and, although it is not stellar, it is quite a good listen. There is some hiss audible at times and several instances of hand claps, but none of that is, by any means, overtly distracting to the enjoyment of the show.
Now, another thing to consider about this show... the group had a 3 week run of shows where they played almost every single day continuously beginning on November 30 with a show in London on that day, and then going directly to Germany for a straight 9-day run through the country playing different cities everyday. That is, except for a two day stand booked in Bochum, this concert here being given on the second day. Only a couple of days into the Germany trek, a major problem developed as Mark had taken a very bad cold and, by the time he was playing this show, he was quite sick and he does address that right at the start of the concert. Of course, he soldiers right on and gives quite a good showing here, but you just know it could have been much better if he was feeling well.
This recording is worthy to have in the collection as many moments of this show are quite entertaining, as always with their concerts. I think that this recording was Gain boosted and/or Normalized to 0.0 db at some point and that would explain why the hiss and claps would be more evident at times. Don't let anything I have stated put you off of this one too much, especially if you are a fan, as I think you will be satisfied with it. I explain below everything that I have done to this fileset since I received it. Again, please give us any detailed knowledge you have of this recording in a comment on this listing. Enjoy...
