This the album we did in 2009. It is our 3rd record and our first full-length album. It has all our best songs on it and was meant to be my life’s work and the best album I’ll probably ever record.
However the drums we recorded on sucked (a few of them broke), the mixing desk was fucked up (clicks and crackles) and my computer was 10 years old and crashed all the time. It took me months just to repair all the crackles and clicks.
I would come home from work and desperately mix and overdub until I couldn't do it any more. Sometimes the computer would crash and I'd be worse off than I was before. This went on for 6 months until I just decided that eventhough, the album didn't sound how I wanted it to, I couldn't physically do it anymore
Yes people this is one LO-FI album! The vocals were recorded in my bathroom and, of course, all the software was pirated and buggy.
I’m proud of this record. It’s kind of like a hip hop record with lot’s of skits and samples between the tracks (I always wanted to do a full length, 45 minute long album with loads of cool samples - just like my heros, Public Enemy). It was then mastered by an indie dude in Brooklyn calle Spleenless Mastering.
These are the best songs I’ll ever do. (I sorry to say) Enjoy it and revel in its fucked up sound. This is, after all, what DIY punk should sound like. This is the sound of a group with no money and very little skill trying to do justice to fun songs (and failing). Still, it eventually met with praise from people who really know underground music, like Ian from Damaged Goods records so I suppose we must have done something right.

C'etait notre 3eme disque mais notre premiere album de longue duree (nous avons enregistres 21 chansons en 2 jours et finalement on a mis 18 morceaux sur le disque).
Cette disque etait toujours destine d'etre notre chef d'oeuvre punk. Bien sur, beaucoup des problemes ont empeche cette objectif!
Nous avons enregistres le batterie chez nos amis "La Ferme de la Justice". La batterie etait pourri et le console aussi. Nous avons cassé la caisse clair et la gros caisse. Nous avon enregistre 21 chansons en 2 jours. 18 de ces chansons sont sur le disque.
Aprés ca, j'ai passé 6 mois chez moi pour mixer et overduber l'album. Mon ordi a 10 ans et il plant chacque 10 minutes. C'etait trés frustrant et enfin je ne pouvais plus et je me suis dit que meme si l'album ne sonne pas comme j'ai voulais, on vas dire que c'est fini!
Il a etait masterisé a Brooklyn New York par Spleenless Mastering.
Je trouve que les chansons sur cette disque sont les meilleur chansons que j'ai fait dans ma vie. Je suis fiere! J'avais toujour envie de produire un album comme le plus grande disques de hip hop, blande de bon chansons et avec le samples cool entre les morceaux.
Mon groupe sont decu et on n'a meme pas presse les examplaires. Dommage, parce ce que quelque gens trés respecter dans le monde de musique alternative comme Ian de Damaged Goods Records (Buzzcocks, Manic Street Preachers, Atari Teenage Riot, Helen Love, Asian Dub Foundation) a bien aime le disque.
