N5's fourth album of 2005 finds the band continuing their unique blend of horrid vocals and time-wasting lyrics all set to good music. Considered a classic album back in its day, "Go For It?" has certainly been one-upped many a-times since then, but there are still some diamonds in the rough to be found.
"Licking the Floor Dry of Parnda Bears" is a nearly-perfect track in the annals of ColdmaN5 history, a song that almost sounds like a song. Other standout tracks, for other reasons, include the bizarre "Gloombing the Can of Sand Thomas", "Flarp", and "Dr. Da Da Do and the Widget Crackers", the first track of the whole opus.
As with any other N5 album, there are purposeful moments of annoyance (such as the squirm-inducingly overlong 2-minute kazoo solo in "On Another Kazoomikaze Mission"), and some just plain horrible tracks ("Ear-Hole Political Party Dance-Off"; "X Marks the Spot for Disco Jellophane") that were included for no other reason than the fact the album needed fourteen tracks.
But without those "trademarks", how else could one tell it was a ColdmaN5 album?
