The FIRE PIRANHAS band was found in 2009 by Elle Pikul and Anatoly Grinberg, former classmates, who graduated form a unique high school in Moscow, Russia, for gifted children in music, choreography and acting. Anatoly Grinberg also known as Tokee, Paindonor and ARG has previously released several albums in electronic, industrial rock, IDM, chill-out and dark ambient genres. Elle Pikul took private singing lessons and studied acting at the world famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in West Hollywood and is presently working as an actress, model and singer.
For The FIRE PIRANHAS project Anatoly Grinberg is a music composer and a sound director, and Elle Pikul is the lyrics writer, singer and the vocal parts composer.
The FIRE PIRANHAS music is a magical mixture of alternative dance, lounge, emotional and electronic genres with streaks of flying cosmic sounds and super new beats. The sparkling voice of Elle Pikul is filling the music with tenderness and sensuality that caresses your ears. Anatoly has never worked with a singer before and has fallen in love with Elle’s voice and her acuracy and rapidity of the work in the sound studio creating more and more new different performance takes and artistic vocal ornaments. Elle and Anatoly have started working on only one song as an experiment, and the creative process brought them together for good. The music magic keeps these two true artists together so they can fulfil each other’s energy, needs and passions and freely express their visions of the world and dreams in their music.
