Band Bio: Comprised of brothers Billy and Danny Yost, longtime friend Zachariah Verdoorn, and recent addition Tyler Zee, The Kickback draws influence from a spectrum that may seem unusual for its small-town South Dakota roots. Any given song can simultaneously shout out to multiple muses, be it Paul Williams' Muppet Movie scores, The Zombies' love of intricate harmony, or the satirical ravings of Randy Newman. That is not to say the boys prefer their music be read rather than felt. The Kickback’s notoriously raging live shows have seen broken chairs, bloody knuckles, and the exorcism-like fury of a band who are in love with what they do.
