Instrumentalist Zero V is in excellent form playing, recording and producing one of his finest albums. The music does reach the excitement level of the Agree to Disagree session, this music (particularly the long ambient track) really shows off the man's appealing tone. This CD is rounded out by three titles that Zero V created while remembering his father's love for jazz music. He managed to capture the excitement and joyfullness of those sessions in the 50s and 60s. Influenced by people like Herbie Hancock, Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola and Stan Getz, he's able to create an atmosphere of a jamsession in a basement down town New York.
