Orchestre dans le lac gelé du Roi Hiver is an impressionist soundscape with an icy, shimmering feel, and a hint of fairy-tale.
This second release features 32' of home-made found sounds looped randomly against themselves, reminiscent of (and indeed inspired by) William Basinski’s shortwave music.
Notice: The file size of the actual work is too large for Jamendo. Instead of brutally chopping the piece in half, I've decided to post just a 5' excerpt. If you want the full half hour, you can preview/download a lossless version here, and a portable one (128kbs) there.
