One day I noticed crackage on my guitar at the base of the neck where it meets the body and then I noticed a crack on the bridge, which was glued on and appeared to be hanging by its last threads, so to speak, and it was a nylon guitar anyway, when I'd been using steel strings for 2 and a half years, which they say is a big no-no, so I was expecting to see wear and tear long before I did.
Its a cheap guitar, not really worth repairing, if its going to be flying into pieces soon, I might as well try to push it to its limits, so it can go to its guitar graveyard with a little bit of pride, so I decided to do something exclusive to my twitter and every day I'd record about 5 minutes, edit it down to about 2, so it wouldn't be a bunch of repetitive and/or aimless guitaring, and upload it to imeem, which no longer exists, which is why its all collected here now, then link to it via a tweet.
I didn't even think it was going to last 21 days, it kind of wore me out, so my guitar broke me more than I broke it and I was trying pretty hard, trying out various tunings, apparently the little amount of glue left under the bridge was still pretty strong and the neck wasn't snapping off. It's falling apart more now not using it, after buying a new guitar, than it did when I was trying to abuse it.
