Michael gives a brief description of his college experience, which is the inspiration for making this documentary. At college he felt more like a customer than a student. The school did everything to make sure he finished in no less than five years. Most of his teachers were distant and apathetic. When seeking financial aid his school directed him to Sallie Mae while neglecting to inform him of the company's predatory/usury practices. Overall, he was a cog in the giant greedy machine known as The Ohio State University.
His goal is to use his experience as an example for others and hopes to prevent others from falling into the same trap as him.
