What purpose does a "Free Will" serve? Does it serve any purpose? How would it help someone to have a Free Will? I submit that having a Free Will would not be a positive trait, but a hindrance.
Does a baseball player use Free Will to hit a home run, or does he rely on the world around him, utilizing a cause-and-effect, deterministic approach to accurately accomplish his task?
The Free Will, as an "uncaused cause," would not only be inefficient, but it would not function properly without relying heavily, if not solely, upon everything going on in the physical world. This would also remove the element of being "uncaused," leading back to a deterministic paradigm.
