A Halloween story by Anne Cordwainer.
This is a one-page story suitable for children. I encourage you to print out copies and staple them to the candy you distribute (but not instead of, since the little tykes would probably feel ripped off :) ). This "hand out stories" project is a spin-off of Neil Gaiman's "Give a book for Halloween" project.
If you don't like this story that much, I still encourage you to include copies of another scary story or poem, some of those El Cheapo toys sold as party favors, or whatever. There's more to Halloween than candy.
