The California Free Digital Textbook Initiative was created to provide students, teachers and parents access to free digital high school textbooks that meet California's rigorous academic content standards. In August 2009, the California Learning Resource Network published a review titled "Free Digital Textbook Initiative Report". This torrent includes the full content of the report, the CA standards reviews for each textbook, as well as the full content and the license information for each textbook available with a share-friendly license. Fifteen textbooks are included covering Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology/Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences. One Biology textbook was excluded because the publisher did not include an acceptable license.
